Making a scroll for a scribe is not always easy…it is what you both do and you really wish to make their scroll special. I found an exemplar, and altered it to suit my purpose. In place of religious text, I placed all of the Kingdom of Atlantia’s awards, and in the place of honor, a Squashed Bug/Trompe l’œil of a coral branch. The scroll is gouache on pergamenata with gesso made by me and covered in gold leaf. Shell gold decoration on text spacers.
